Lewis + Line was founded in 2019 by Katie McElrath. L+L quickly became a visual arts hub where many forms of creation now thrive together.

Katie has been involved in the world of arts for her entire life. Growing up, she was a member of award-winning dance companies and started her professional career at the young at of 14. In college, Katie studied fine arts, receiving multiple scholarships. At CSU Long Beach she was honored with the Gloria Newman Dance Scholarship and was deemed the sole recipient of choreographic excellence, chosen from her graduating class, at Texas State University. 

Katie’s exposure to a long line of family entrepreneurs helped develop a strong enthusiasm to establish greatness and do it like no one had before. Katie has lead numerous pre-professional and professional dance companies as the founder, creative director and manager. Her management expertise brought her to direct at one of the largest dance studios in Texas, where her company expanded over 100 members. Along with retaining the highest recognition at conventions across the states, her pupils have gone on to receive full college scholarships and professional opportunities in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and Texas. 

Over the past decade, Katie’s expansion in the arts has gained momentum, being extensively sought out for her graphic and social media composition. Her artistic eye and unique style have demonstrated to be exceptionally successful. Along with the launch of her own business, curating custom artwork, her work can be seen on many websites and social media accounts. Her capacity to translate the mission of a business into a highly personalized aesthetic has led to working with all kinds of businesses. 

As a world traveler, Katie has been influenced not only artistically, but on socially conscious and philanthropic grounds. The culmination of exposure to various cultures has made her equipped to generate on the most successful level of creativity. First-hand familiarity to art all over the world has ensued in her proficiency to see through a unique lens, making her work extremely personable and intriguing.
